PRECARE & AFTERCARE
Prepare for your appointment
CLEAN NATURAL LASHES & BARE FACE
Arrive to your appointment with NO MAKEUP on including mascara, eyeliner, strip lashes, and eyeshadow. Avoid wearing mascara or strip lashes at least 24 hours prior as leftover residue will be hard to remove during your appointment. You may bring makeup to touch up after your session for pictures.
AVOID CAFFEINE
Avoid caffeine at least 4-6 hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine will cause jitters and your eyes to twitch which makes it difficult to apply extensions. This will take away from your appointment time.
Wear COMFY CLOTHES
As you will be laying still for about 2-3 hours, I highly recommend wearing comfortable clothings and leaving your hair down. Avoid tight clothing or high ponytails.
Know Your Allergies
Inform of any known allergies or sensitivities you may have, or any eye procedures you have had down in the past half year. This is important, especially if you're using any eye drops or have a history of allergic reactions.
Plan Your Time
Be mindful of the time required for the appointment. Lash extensions can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the style and type of extensions you're getting. Plan your schedule accordingly. If you have an old set that needs to be removed, please notify that prior to your appointment.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR LASHES
Prebook your lash fill
Lash refills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to maintain healthy conditions of your lashes. Your set may still look full but by 3 weeks there will be a lot of lash growth and these extensions must be replaced with new extensions.
AVOID oily products
Any oil based products should be avoided around the eye area. Oily products will cause the extensions to appear clumpy and shiny.
WASH YOUR LASHES DAILY
An aftercare kit with a leash cleanser, brush and spoolie will be provided to you at the end of your appointment. Clients with oily skin or wear makeup daily should wash their lashes at least 2x daily. Clients with dryer skin can wash their lashes at least 1x daily. Brush your lashes daily.
BEING GENTLE
Avoid rubbing your eyes, pulling or tugging on extensions. This will cause premature damage to your natural lashes. Sleep on your back. Side sleepers or those who sleep on their face often notice more lash fall out than those who sleep on their back.
DITCH THE MASCARA & EYELASH CURLERS
Mascara will cause the extensions to clump together, it will be extremely difficult to remove and a new set will be required. Eyelash curlers can damage and break your natural lashes and extensions.
Address Any Irritation
If you experience any irritation, redness, or discomfort, contact your lash technician promptly and seek medical attention. It's essential to address any issues to prevent potential complications.
